Product Application:
Material characteristics
For plastics of different hardness, appropriate knives and liners should be selected:
When processing hard plastics (such as ABS, PS), a toothed roller cutter and a high-hardness liner are required;
When processing soft plastics (such as PE, PP), a blade cutter can be used.
At the same time, the width of the feed port needs to be determined according to the maximum size of the material. For example, to crush a 500mm×500mm pallet, the feed port width must be no less than 600mm.
Productivity requirements
The appropriate model needs to be selected based on the hourly processing volume (such as 500kg/h, 2t/h, 5t/h). For large production lines, graded crushing can be achieved by equipping multiple crushers to meet the needs of efficient processing.
Discharging particle size
Different crushing particle sizes are suitable for different scenarios:
Coarse crushing (20-50mm) is often used in the pre-treatment stage of recycling granulation;
Fine crushing (5-20mm) is suitable for direct reprocessing or as feed for washing lines.
Energy consumption and maintenance
Power matching: The motor power needs to be selected in combination with the hardness of the material. For example, when crushing HDPE pallets, the motor power needs to be above 55kW;
Tool life: High-chromium alloy tools are suitable for high-frequency crushing operations and have a longer replacement cycle of about 3-6 months; ordinary steel tools need to be regularly checked for wear and tear for timely maintenance.
