Material characteristics
Hardness: For hard plastics (such as ABS, PS), a tooth roller cutter + high hardness liner is required; for soft plastics (such as PE, PP), a blade cutter can be selected.
Size: Select the feed opening width according to the maximum feed size (such as crushing a 500mm×500mm pallet, the feed opening must be ≥600mm).
Capacity requirements
Select the machine model according to the hourly processing capacity (such as 500kg/h, 2t/h, 5t/h). Large production lines can be equipped with multiple crushers for graded crushing.
Discharge particle size
Coarse crushing (20-50mm) is used for recycling and granulation pre-treatment; fine crushing (5-20mm) is used for direct reprocessing or washing line feeding.
Energy consumption and maintenance
Power matching: Select the motor power according to the hardness of the material (such as crushing HDPE pallets requires more than 55kW).
Tool life: High chromium alloy cutters are suitable for high-frequency crushing and have a long replacement cycle (about 3-6 months); ordinary steel cutters need to be regularly checked for wear.
